Ava Nell Hays, 78, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home - Ridgely Chapel with the Rev. Steve Carr officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
The family will receive visitors 5:30-8 p.m. today at the Ridgely chapel.
Survivors include eight sons, Gary Hays of Dyersburg, Sam Hays of Glenwood, Ill., Greg Hays, Ronnie Hays and Ricky Gray, all of Tiptonville, and Danny Hays, John Paul Hays and Tony Hays, all of Chicago; a brother, Gene Camper of Scott's Hill; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Milton Hays; a son, Charles Perry Hays; her parents, Earl and Janie Camper; and a grandson, Danny Michael Hays.
