Mr. Campbell was a retired farmer and stockman. He was the last of the family of eight, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
On November 24, 1909, he was united in marriage to Nettie Culver. To this union was born 5 children, all surviving.
They are Lela Haney, Aurora, Colo. Carroll Campbell, Concordia, Dorothy Campbell, Wayne, Forest Campbell, Manhattan, and Retta Barchardt (sic) of Anchorage, Alaska, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 27 from the United Methodist church (sic) in Talmo, with the Reverend Harry E. Blackburn officiating. Burial was in the Union cemetery (sic) near Wayne.
