Deb was born to Dennis and Minnie Basler. She was a member of Central Iowa Circle of First Nations. Howard Crow Eagle performed the Pipe Ceremony prior to her passing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and making Native America Jewelry. She is survived by her husband, Ed; son Michael; daughter Suzanne and two sisters, Sandy Jones and Shirley Basler both in California. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Eddie, Tyler, Alex, Makayla, McClaine, Olivia and Ocean; and her two beloved dogs, Petey and Smoky. Her parents and a sister, Denise preceded her in death.
