Walter E. Passmore, 85 retired farmer, died Thursday, March 29 at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia.
He was born November 24, 1893 in Talmo, Kans. December 1, 1917, he married Adelaide McClure. She died January 5, 1936.
He was a lifetime resident of Cloud and Republic counties.
Survivors are: two sons, Dr. Jack W. of ElCajon, Calif., Bill M. of Concordia; one daughter, Sandra Taylor, Gages Park, Ill.; one daughter-in-law, Mary Passmore of Agenda; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 2, 2 p.m. at the United Methodist church in Talmo, the Rev. Loren Silsby officiating. Interment was in Union cemetery in Wayne.
