Born, March 4, 1928 in Decatur Co., Indiana, she was the daughter of Karl Edker and Mary Elizabeth (Morris) Hammil.
Ethel was a member of the Community Church of Nazarene in Greensburg.
She was married to Leo Alfred Sallee on August 14, 1954 in Shelbyville and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1975.
She is survived by six sons, Charles (Linda) Hammil, Greensburg, David (Angela) Sallee, Greensburg, Daniel Joe (Arletta) Sallee, Greensburg, Alfred Sallee, Greensburg, Richard (Roxie) Sallee, Greensburg, Clifford Sallee, Fairland; two daughters, Sarah (Robert) Clark, Greensburg, Christine (Art) Powers, Greensburg; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Charles Bud Hammil and one sister, Nettie Jane Ray.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Harry Cook officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
