Our little town was shocked last Wednesday morning by the death of "Uncle" Lewis Bohannon. He died from a stroke of apoplexy. He was 76 years of age and leaves an aged wife and the following children to mourn his death: Mrs Lee Miller, Sparta; Mrs Mattie England, Harriman; James Bohannon, Eastland. One son could not be located. The deceased was laid to rest at Eastland with Bro Harry Chitticks conducting the services
