Services for Cliffie Ava Rhodes, 89, of Zavalla, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. M. H. Shubert officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Rhodes was born January 8, 1914, in Angelina County, Texas, and she died Thursday, October 30, 2003, in Diboll.

Mrs. Rhodes was retired from the maintenance department of Caney Creek Forest Service. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Zavalla.

Survivors include her husband, Eli Rhodes of Zavalla; daughters, Nancy Carol Dykes of Zavalla and Bessie Guinell Crum of Pollok; sons, William Emitt Weisinger of Zavalla, Billy Paul Weisinger of Diboll and Charles Nathaniel Weisinger of Mineral Wells; stepdaughter, Junnie Crawford; sisters, Nanny Brazeale, Opal Meadows, Katie Horton, all of Waco, and Emily Davis of Port Neches; brothers, Ruell Stanaland of Diboll and Tom Stanaland of Edna; 20 grandchildren; and 42 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Hooks; and great grandchildren, Ashley Paulon and Tommie Beard.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Weisinger, Jimmy Crum, Kenneth Crum, Martin Dykes, Brady Hooks and Neil Lum.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Crum and John Weisinger.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday evening at the First United Pentecostal Church in Zavalla
