Thurman W.Wood,69,of Moran died about 1 a.m. Friday December 19,1975 at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Moran First Baptist Church.
The Rev.Mike McKinney,pastor,will officiate.Burial will be in Dennis Cemetery,directed by Godfrey Funeral Home.
Born April 3,1906 in Eastland County, he was a lifetime resident of that area.He married Rachel Basket Wood on March 27 1940,at Throckmorton.He was a farmer and rancher and a member of First Baptist Church of Moran.
Survivors include his wife,a daughter,Mrs Dorothy Miller of Moran; four grandchildren;four nephews;and a niece.
