Funeral services were conducted Friday, Nov. 1, 1974 in the Ree C. Grim Chapel, King City, CA for Robert Glenford Ayers, 63 following a long illness with the Rev. Kenneth Shires officiating.

Interment was in King City Cemetery under direction of Ree C. Grim Funeral Home.

He was born Oct. 1, 1911 near Denver, AR to Will A. and Viola Malone Ayers and lived in the Denver-Green Forest area until 1943, when he moved his family to Greenfield, CA. He died October 28, 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia West Ayers, one son, Kenneth of Greenfield, CA; three daughters, Mrs. Imogene Glau, Greenfield, Mrs. Peggy Cummings, Salinas; and Mrs. Barbara Wallace, Central Point, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Ragain, Springfield, MO; one brother, Arlis Ayers, Tulsa, OK and 15 grandchildren.
