She was born in Dunlap Oklahoma to Omer R. and Pearl M. England Smalley and died at Greenbrier Village Skilled Nursing in Enid.
She graduated from Buffalo (Oklahoma) High School in 1941. She married Don L. Pitts Nov. 14, 1943, in Lucien Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of Parker Chapel Christian Union Church, Ames Oklahoma.
Surviving are her husband, Don, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Donna) Detrick of Ames; one son, Don L. Pitts Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
