Carl A. Barnett, 81, of Rio Hondo, Texas, and formerly of Decatur, Ind., died Tuesday, July 27, 1999, in Raymondville, Texas. The St. Louis native was a truck driver, member of First United Methodist Church and Odd Fellows Lodge.
Surviving are a brother, Jay of Rio Hondo; a sister, Alice Stachelek of Milbrea, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Georgia G., preceded him in death.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Decatur Cemetery Chapel, Decatur, Ind. Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Information provided by Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur.
