Charles Holbert Haven married my great aunt Edna. They shared many wonderful years together. I don't know anything about "Uncle Holbert's" family. Our family really loved him. His brothers in-law was: James, Henry, and Willis Riggins. Two sisters in-law: Annie Mae Riggins Otting and Dollie Riggins Hartzog.
We have many cherished memories of Aunt Edna and Uncle Holbert. They would come down from their home in Chattanooga for family gatherings and reunions. As a child, my parents and I would go to Chattanooga to visit them. Uncle Holbert was a quiet man, but very friendly. I know he served in a branch of the military, but I don't know which one. Uncle Holbert passed away in 1983.
Thank you for all the flowers and notes that is put here on this memorial.
