She was born in Chelsea, Mass., April 8, 1925, to Harold and Gertrude (McCarthy) Richardson. She graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1944 and married Lloyd White on July 30, 1944 in Derry.
She worked as a payroll clerk for Klev Bro Shoe Company in Derry for 30 years, from its inception to its closing.
She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed taking care of and watching her grandchildren grow. She also enjoyed talking with her dear friends and spending time with them at her camp in Moultonboro.
She enjoyed "Murder She Wrote," Lawrence Welk, her many dogs and chocolate.
She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry.
IN HER LIFE: She is survived by a daughter, Debra Simone and her husband, Keven, of Wolfeboro; and two grandchildren, Joseph Simone and Laurel Simone, both of Wolfeboro.
She is also survived by many incredibly supportive friends and neighbors, as well as by her dog, Lucky. She was predeceased by her husband, best friend and soul mate, Lloyd "Whitey" White in 1995.
SERVICES: Following cremation, visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Derry.
