Arch Nebeker Dies at Salt Lake Hospital
Archilles (Arch) Nebeker, 79, for many years a resident of Fairview but who spent the past two winters in Salt Lake City, died Friday at 2:00 p.m. in a hospital in Salt Lake City. He has not been very good health for a year or two, but has been able to be up and around most of the time. He spent last summer in Star Valley.
He was born in Laketown, Utah, August 3, 1870, a son of Araon and Jane Ann Smith Nebeker.
The family moved to Star Valley in 1902 and settled in Fairview where they have made home for about 48 years.
He was married to Dora Stanton in Logan on October 25, 1899 and together they raised their family on Spring Creek near Fairview.
Surviving besides his widow are three sons, Ralph and Joseph Nebeker of Blackfoot Idaho and Harold Nebeker of Fairview, three daughters, Mrs Lucile Jamison, Burley, Idaho, Mrs Gladys Wager, serving on a mission at Huston, Texas, and Miss Laura Nebeker of salt Lake City, also 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held last Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the 17th ward chapel in Salt Lake City as follows:

Pallbearers wree: Sons, Ralph Nebeker, Harold Nebeker, Joseph Nebeker, cousins: Delmar Nebeker Earl Nebeker and Son-in-law William Jamison.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Mr and Mrs Dell Nebeker, Mr and Mrs Harold Nebeker and Mrs Estella Nebeker, all of Star Valley went to Salt Lake City and attended the service there.
Graveside funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Fairview at 5:00 o'clock under the direction of Bp. D.A. Chadwick, First Counselor, Ronald Allred conducted.
Gaylen Harmon sang a solo, "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine".
H.E. Child told of his long acquaintance with the family and spoke of them as being good neighbors.
The grave was dedicated by Al Bagley of Woods Cross, Utah.
A lovely luncheon was served to members of the Nebeker family under the direction of the Fairview Relief Society at the home of Lester Nebeker.
