William Judson Collins "W.J. Collins"

This man was my great-great grandfather. He was born November 11, 1832 and Died February 22, 1913. He was born in Georgia. He is resting in Anderson County Texas. He was a confederate soldier. He served for 2 years under Col. Hardie in Company C. He enlisted in the year 1861. He enlisted in the summer in Dooley county Georgia.

He was also a minister of the gospel. He was at the time of asking for his pension from the government, feeble from age with paralasis. His pension was approved on the 16th day of February, 1903. He also in the 2 years he served became a captain.

He was also the Pastor of ANDERSON COUNTY - CHURCH - First Baptist Church of Palestine in the year 1879 until 1882. From the age of 47 until the age 50.
