Connie Faye Brooks

Services for Connie Faye Brooks, 42, of Greenwood, who died of an aneurysm Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at her home, were at 10 a.m. today at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.

She moved to Greenwood in 1973, and was an office manager and bookkeeper for McCormick & Co. for 18 years. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Brooks and Melissa Brooks, both of Greenwood; her mother, Faye Matthews of Greenwood; her father, Charles Edward Matthews of Macon; two brothers, Eddie Matthews of Greenwood and Kenneth Matthews of Carrollton; and one grandchild.

The Rev. Ron Sessum officiated at the services.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton.

Pallbearers were Grady Collett, Max Lemley, Chris Cresswell, Jason Jackson, Kris Matthews and Josh Clark.

Honorary pallbearers were Stanford Bloodworth, J.W. Mims, William Wade and Glen Mohon.

Visitation was from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
