Paul Henry Harkins, 40, died Sept. 13, 2008.

He was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from Franklin Pierce College. He was employed as a systems analyst at Sungard Brokerage Systems in Boston until moving to the Tampa area where he was employed by J. P. Morgan Chase.

His passion was helping his sons play on the Fish Hawk baseball and Pinecrest football teams. He hoped that they soon would enjoy his favorite sport of golf.

Family members include wife, Christine Harkins and two sons, Jake Harkins and Matt Harkins, all of Lithia; his parents, Jack and Cheryl Harkins; two sisters, Pam and Kathleen, his grandfather, Charles Payne; his grandmother Emily Harkins; aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview, followed by a funeral Mass Friday at 3 p.m. at St. Stephen Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico.
