Joe Lynn "J.J." Adams Jr., 31, of Hornbeak, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in an automobile accident on Mount Olive Road, west of Union City.
He was employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for nine years as a tire builder and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a 1990 graduate of Obion County Central High School. He was born Jan. 20, 1972, in Dyersburg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home in Union City with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in Cobs Chapel Cemetery.
