June Nellie Peck was born August 30, 1922 in Park River, North Dakota, the daughter of Christian and Clara (Gustofson) Peck.

She was a graduate of Flint Central High School.

June retired from GM Chevrolet Manufacturing after 30 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local 659.

June, age 86, of Byron, Michigan, and formerly of Davison and Flint, died September 15, 2008 at Genesys Health Park.

Surviving were: daughter, Carole Watson and husband Steven of Fenton; son, Gary Fritcher and wife Sandy of Smyrna, TN; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Fritcher, Mark (Brigette) Fritcher, Brian (Crystal) Fritcher, Joe Ledger, Jr., Phillip (Teresa) Ledger, Jill (John) Weber; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Darl (Linda) Gorder of Mio; niece, Kim Gorder Garza; nephew, David Gorder; 2 great nephews, Lance Gorder and Lucas Garza; great niece, Paris Garza.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 infant sons, David and Richard; sister, Irene Hanson.

Funeral: Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton with Pastor Josh Gates officiating.
