Plan Memorial Services on Monday for Mrs. Birdie Hindenburg
Mrs. Birdie Hindenburg, age 87, widow of the late Richard Hindenburg died this morning at 9:30 o’clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wayne Babcock, north of Valparaiso.
The decedent was born on Nov. 8, 1874, at Bloomington, Ill.; the daughter of John and Mattie Weinhart. For the last thirty years she has resided in Porter County, in Washington and Center townships.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph W. Hindenburg and Lee J. Hindenburg, of Valparaiso; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Babcock, north of Valparaiso; four grandchildren and one brother, Fred Weinhart , of Lawrence, Mich. Her husband, Richard Hindenburg, preceded her in death last June.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Valparaiso and the Neighborhood Sisters of Cooks Corners.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm. Monday at the Bartholomew funeral chapel on Washington street, conducted by Rev Russell B. Kern. Burial will be in Kimball cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bartholomew funeral home from 7 o’clock Sunday evening up until time of the services.

Hold Hindenburg Services Monday
Memorial Services for Mrs. Richard Hindenburg were held at 2pm Monday at the Bartholomew funeral chapel on Washington Street, conducted by Rev Russell B Kern of the Methodist church. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends.
Charles W. Kern acted as organist. Pallbearers were Roy Bartz, George Lee, Edward Keene, John Collins, William Wilson, and John Froberg. Burial was in Kimball cemetery.
