Funeral services for Maria Guadalupe Rocha of Dayton will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Dayton. Father Victor Perez will officiate.

A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in the chapel at Macy & Son Funeral Directors. Interment will be conducted at St. James Catholic Cemetery in McMinnville.

Mrs. Rocha died as a result of a automobile accident near Dayton on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. She was 51.

Born in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico, on Oct. 19, 1956, she was the daughter of Ignacio and Brijida Servantes Luna. She married Juan Rocha on Dec. 5, 1976, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. The couple moved to Dayton in 1978.

She was employed by North American plants in McMinnville. She was a member of San Martin de Porres Catholic Church and St. James Parish. She was a member of the Apostoles de la Palabra.

"She was an amazing person who loved her family very much," the family said.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rocha is survived by two sons, Marcos and Juanito of Dayton; five daughters, Angelica Rocha of McMinnville and Ales Marquez, Miriam Sauceda, Lucia Rocha and Rosy Rocha of Dayton; and six grandchildren. To leave online condolences, visit www.macy andson.com.
