Bob enjoyed being around people, telling jokes, collecting tractors and spending time with his family. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Eldon.
Others who survive him include: two children, Reggie Rush and wife Christy and Darlene Boren and husband Jim, all of Tuscumbia; six grandchildren, Suzie Rush, Elliott Rush and wife Kristen, Hillary Rush and Bradley, Brandon and Brady Banner and five brothers, Larue Rush and wife Rosetta, Gerald Rush and wife Ottolene, Kenneth Rush and wife Judy, Marvin Rush and wife Margaret and Sammy Rush and wife Phyllis.
One brother, Harry Lee Rush, also preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, with services immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Gene Edwards and Larry Scherer will officiate. Interment with military honors provided by the Miller County VFW Post 2442 and "Taps" played by Shawn Rush will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to come by the Rush's home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30th.
