Son of Samuel Wilson McCrum and Mary Dicia Capps. Husband of 1st Rebecca Hill and 2nd Emma Lou Simmons. Father of three: by 1st Winnie Bell and by 2nd Richard Douglas, Sr. and Jessie. Listed in the "Medical and Surgical Register of the United States", 1896; page 1427. First Lt., 304th Motor Transport Corps. WWI Vet. First Lt. Medical Corps at Camp Normoyle in 1919. Also indications he attended or graduated from U of Tennessee, 1889; U of Nashville, 1891; Vanderbilt College, 1892; and Post Graduate, College of Chicago, 1905.
