Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the New Prospect Church in the Reeves Community for Douglas Ray Spradley, 8-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Ray Spradley. The Rev. Hitt was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Reeves Cemetery with Hawthorn Funeral Home in charge of the rites.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Ray Reeves [sic Spradley]; one brother, William Doyle Spradley and a sister Judy Spradley; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Spradley and Mr. and Mrs. Jules Landreneau of Eunice, La.
