Thomas E. Parry, former Corpus Christian who helped to survey the Old Brownsville Railroad, died Friday afternoon after suffering a heart attack at the home of a son in Lynnwood, Calif. He was 73. Parry lived at Lucerne, Calif., and had just returned to the West Coast after having spent the winter here. A former farmer, rancher, and oilfield worker, he was employed by a major oil company until he retired several years ago. Survivors include two sons, Travis Parry of Lynnwood and Chief Petty Officer Tex Parry, stationed in Japan; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Pullian of Huntington Park, Calif.; 4 brothers, R.P. and R.L. Parry, both of Corpus Christi, John Parry of Riverside, Calif., and Henry Parry of Daingerfield, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Joe Franklin of Corpus Christi. Funeral arrangements were incomplete yesterday.
