Mrs William Severidt died Friday afternoon at her home four and a half miles southeast of State Center, of myesthenia gravis, following an illness of almost a year.

Mrs Severidt was born in State Center township January 9, 1893, her maiden name being Amanda Damman. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Carl Damman who live seven miles northwest of State Center. She was married to William Severidt April 3, 1912 at State Center. Mr and Mrs Severidt have lived on a farm near State Center since their marriage.

The husband, parents and six children survive. The latter are Glen, age 12, Harold age 10, Edith age 8, George age 7, Earl age 5 and Donald age 2.

Funeral services were held Monday at St Paul Evangelical Lutheran church with Rev J C Oltman in charge. Interment was in Hillside cemetery.
