s/o James Gordon Hamilton & Flora Elenor Melton. Married 6/9/1946 to Doris LaVerne Findley. During WW11 served as a P-38 crew chief in the 433rd FS, stationed in the South Pacific. After the war, he was a pumper for the Texas Oil Company in northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
