Edward Lawremce Arthur, my great uncle was the 11th of 12th children born to Pell* (1856-1917) and Mary Ryan* (1862-1929)* at Ticonderoga, NY.
Edward's eight brothers and three sisters were: William (1885-1962), Margaret (1886-1930), Warren (1887-1974), Francis* (1888-1960), James* (1889-1973), Richard (1890-1971), Matthew (1892-1970), Daniel (1895-1960), Beatrice (1897-1936), Amelia Louise (1899-1920), Clarence Paul (1905-1981).
Edward graduated Notre Dame; married Arvilla Brucken (1906-2005)* on November 25, 1943. They are the parents of three children: Kathleen DeBritta, Nancy and Christopher. Grandmother of Ellen, Joanna, Nickolas, Monica and Joseph. They also have a number of great grandchildren.
Edward was a TECH5 in the US ARMY during WWII.
