Eunice May Block, 89, peacefully left this world in her sleep at her home early on Saturday morning, September 13, 2008. Eunice was born June 24, 1919 to Orrin and Elsie Wallace in Clevland, OH. She graduated from high school and attended Dyke College in Cleveland. She lived in the Reno/ Sparks area for the last 65 years. Eunice worked for the Reno Gazette Journal, Sierra Pacific Power Co. and was also a legal secretary for Bill Raggio and Dick Minor. Eunice was a member of the Church of Christ and was a member of Ammon- Ra-Temple and Daughters of the Nile. She also loved to travel and took many exciting trips with her late husband. She enjoyed entertaining and loved her family, especially her great-grandsons.

Eunice was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years Donald H. Block; her father; mother and sister. She is survived by daughter, Karyl Lee Clark of Sparks; son, William Wallace (Valerie) Block of Sparks; granddaughter, Christy S. (Chris) Lopez and great-grand- children, Jayden and Evan Lopez, all of Phoenix. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Edward M. Block (Dallas) of Carson City; brother-in-law, Arthur C. Block (Edith) of Las Vegas.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Masonic Memorial Gardens at Mountain View Cemetary, 437 Stoker Ave, Reno on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 10 a.m.
