Dr. J. H. Colvin of the Lisbon United Presbyterian church will officiate and burial will be in Union cemetery. Survivors include his wife, the former Eva Hodgson of Pewaukee, two adopted children, William Greengo of Lannon; and Mrs. Mary Greengo Jaecks of Sussex; one brother, Ernest, a sister Fanny and six grandchildren; one son, George Nelson met death in a motorcycle accident while attending Menomonee Falls high school.
The deceased was a descendant of one of the group of Englishmen who formed a colony in the town of Lisbon in the early 1840's. He was born May 8, 1868 (hard to read), the son of Nelson and Elizabeth (Jeffery) Greengo. He began his education in the district school, and later attended Carroll college in Waukesha. Greengo graduated from the college of agriculture at the University of Wisconsin in 1890, being a member of the first dairy class at that institution.
He married Eva Hodgson, daughter of the late George and Mary Hodgson, of Pewaukee, on Jan. 8, 1897. In 1947, Mr. And Mrs. Greengo celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their farm home north of Sussex, and in 1952 the couple celetrated their 55th anniversary."
