MRS. ADCOX
MARION, Ill. -- Mrs. Katherine M. Adcox, 88, of Marion, formerly of Valley, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000 at Kerrin Hospital.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at Lake of Egypt Christian Church with the Rev. Leroy Waggoner officiating. Burial was in Valley.
Mrs. Adcox is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Ed (Pete) Kelley of Marion; one son, Allen L. Adcox; a special friend, Jean Brown of Eutawville, S.C.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters.
Born April 22, 1911, Mrs. Adcox formerly worked at WestPoint Pepperell, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Fairfax Christian Church in Valley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen J. Adcox. She was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Laura B. (Wesley) Martin.
