Isaac Hudson Boatner the son of Dr. Elias Hudson Boatner, MD born in Louisiana, and Olivia Burwick born in Louisiana, was born in Louisiana, but came to South Texas at a young age where he grew up and lived for several years before moving west. He arrived in California by 1920 and worked as a Flax Rancher at Jacumba, CA before his death. He was married to Annie Mary Jordan. He was the father of Mrs Aileen Dyer.
