Born Sept 8, 1916 in Panola County, she was the daughter of James Edgar and Jennie Alice Hudson Taylor. She was reared in the Baptist faith and spent most of her life in Panola County and Shreveport. She married Guy Spradley and spent her life as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, Noble, Tom, Lucy, Olen, Otis and Earl.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Walter Rodgers, of Santa Fe; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Inger Taylor, of Bossier City; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Kenneth Renk of Pasadena; granddaughters, Sharon and husband Clifford Hicks, of Pasadena, and Sandy and husband Rodney Roberson, of Grapeland; great-grandsons, Christopher and Travis Hicks, of Pasadena, and Jay Roberson, of Grapeland; numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.
Pallbearers were Mike Taylor, Willie Spradley, Tim Spradley, Christopher Hicks, Travis Hicks, Jay Roberson and Doug Willis.
