REBECCA L. TEETS

Rebecca Letitia Teets, 92, Eglon, W.Va., died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.

Born Sept. 19, 1912, in Winston-Salem, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Noah Henry and Mary Alberta Foltz Faw. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John E. Teets, whom she married June 19, 1937; and one brother, Dennis Faw.

She retired after 25 years as an elementary school teacher in Preston County (W.Va.) and surrounding counties. She attend Bridgewater College, and graduated from Salem College in Winston-Salem.

She was a member and deaconess of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of Eglon Homemakers of America and the W.Va. Retired Teachers Association.

Friends were received at the Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis, W.Va.

A service was held at the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren on Saturday, April 16, with the Rev. Rogers Fike and Rev. Glenn Nissly officiating.

Interment was in the Maple Spring Cemetery.
