She was born Sept. 20, 1914 in Manchester to the late Benjamin F. and Mary E. (Provencher) Moody.
A longtime resident of Raymond, she was a graduate of Raymond High School and worked for many years in area shoe factories.
A devoted wife and mother, she loved flowers and enjoyed many activities including gardening, sewing, and cooking.
For many years she wintered in New Port Richey, Fla., and was the widow of Dwight A. Glidden Sr.
Family members include two sons, Dwight A. Glidden Jr. of Raymond, and Dennis Glidden of Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Joan Parenteau of Epping; 8 grandchildren;13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond. A Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 208 Pleasant St., Epping. Burial to follow in the Old Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond.
