She was born, June 22, 1931, the daughter of Gedeon and Bernadette (Descoteau) Dodier.
She was the widow of Robert Joseph Cota, whom she married on April 23, 1949, and he died April 17, 1998.
The surviving family includes three daughters, Joyce E. Hubbard of Flint, Mich., Jean M. French of Newport, and Brenda L. Vaughn of Charlestown; two sons, Kenneth J. Cota of Claremont and Ronald J. Cota of Unity; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Milan of Windsor and Rena Hendee of Springfield; one brother, Norman Dodier of Panama City, Fla.; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Thursday evening.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 29 in St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Shawn M. Therrien officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family suggests that donations may be made in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation of New Hampshire, 1 Tremont St., Concord, N.H. 03301.
