Canton, IL - Donna Merle Paton, 71, of Canton died at 7:05 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at the Graham Hospital emergency room.
Donna was born December 6, 1936 in Lewistown, Ill., the daughter of William R. and Merle (Seward) Mustread. She married Donald Paton in 1970 at Peoria.
Surviving are one son, Rick Lafary; one daughter, Deanna Whitmer; one brother, Floyd (Shelly) Mustread; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Steve Lafary, and two brothers.
Donna farmed along with her husband for many years in the Smithfield area, and had worked for Computer Land and several other companies in the Peoria area as a CPA.
Cremation will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Baughman Cemetery at rural Smithfield.
