Frank Cynova, age 84 years died Saturday afternoon. Mr. Cynova was one of the early settlers of Nebraska and has for many years lived in Sherman county. Funeral was held Monday at 10 o'clock at St. Francis church and the remains were laid to rest in St. Francis cemetery.

Andreas was born in W. Wies, Swarzau Poland, the son of Joseph & Catherine (Konkol) Ceynowa. He had 4 brothers and one sister of record. Andreas was a twin, but his twin died in infancy. Andreas married Rosella Detleff 22 Jan 1855 in Poland. Children Joseph Andreas, Fransiska Rosalie (Joseph & Fransiska also died in Poland), John and Rosalie Marianne were born in Poland. The family came to the United States about 1866 and settled in Chicago. There Maria Josepha and Martha were born. There were 4 other children born of the family, but there is no record of them. The family moved to Nebraska in the late 1870s. Martha was married to August Michael Smolinski in Nebraska on 27 Nov 1888, but moved to Pennsylvania where their fourth child was born.
