Marion M. Adams, 84, of Dwight, died Tuesday (July 10, 2007) at Heritage Manor, Dwight. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. services at the Hager Memorial Home, Dwight. Rev. Pat Morton will officiate.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Dwight. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
She was born March 17, 1923, the daughter of Robert E. and Esther McDaniel Sipe. Her husband, Charles E. Adams, whom she married Aug. 24, 1944, in St. Louis, died March 31, 1987. She loved cats.
Surviving are one daughter, Marianne Decker of Dwight; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Charles and Edda Adams of Hephzibah, Ga., Jim Adams, David and Ida Adams, Terry and Lorene Adams, all of Dwight; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Alberta and Ken Davison of Middletown; and one daughter-in-law, Dorothy Adams of Springfield.
Deceased are one son, Michael; and one brother, Robert Sipe.
