Marie Gain, age 96, went to be with the Lord August 22, 2008. Marie was born April 9, 1912 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Mary (Pergesson) and Aaron Brassfield. Marie lived her life serving the Lord. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church for 50 years. She enjoyed reading her bible, being a part of the Awesome Senior Citizens group at the church and traveling with them, going around putting bibles on cars,. She would spend part of her time enjoying her hobbies of drawing birds, writing poetry, and watching cars go by. She also loved playing games such as skipbo and domino's. She loved her family and will be missed by all her knew her. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Carter Hospice for their loving care. She is survived by her son: Glen Gain and wife Linda daughters: Sandra Freeman and husband Cal, Myrna Elliott and husband Jewel 19 grandchildren and numerous great and great -great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons: Claude, Dewey 1 daughter: Pat 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Faith Church with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
