GLASGOW — Kenneth "Kenny" Bernard Weber, born Nov. 27, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wis., died Sunday evening, Sept. 21, 2008, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

Kenny made Glasgow his home for more than three decades. He owned Backstage Music Company, Weber Development and was a founding member of the Low Down Pesky Buzzards, a local musical group. He was a zealous member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses here in Glasgow having an active part in the preaching work for more than 30 years. He also volunteered for building Kingdom Halls throughout the Commonwealth and at the world headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in New York. He was also widely known for his love of people and music, having taught hundreds of all ages to enjoy playing various instruments. Indeed, when asked if he was a successful musician, he would reply "the successful musician is the one who enjoys it." Many enjoyed playing with him and appreciated his patience and humor, which stayed with him to the end.

He is survived by his stepmother, Thelma Weber; his loving wife, Loretta Weber; his son, Bernard "Nardis" Weber and his wife Heather Weber of Glasgow; his daughter, Samantha Graham and her husband Josh Graham of Louisville; his sister, Janice Lynn Weber of Louisville; his sister, Patrica Weber and her husband Michael McStocker of Sacramento, Calif.; his stepbrothers, Michael Lamb of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Mark Cresci of Meredith, N.
