Obituary: Funeral for Edward Jackson Magnusson, 82-year-old retired farmer, was Thursday at Piney Grove Baptist Church, the Rev. Jack Carroll officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery, Rainey Funeral Home, directing. Mr. Magnusson died Wednesday at Baugh-Wiley-Smith Hospital, Decatur, following a heart attack on Tuesday. He had been in ill health for a long period of time. He made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Milburn Franklin, of Piney Grove.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Franklin, Mrs. Percy Mitchell and Mrs. Coy Robinson, all of Piney Grove; six sons, Foster of Ardmore, Levi, Bernard and Clifford of Piney Grove, Baugh of Cash Point, Tenn., and Frazell of Decatur; 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
