L. O. Cathey Dies in Georgetown Monday, July 22, 1963
Louis Oliver Cathey, 87, of Georgetown died late Monday at the residence of his son, A. F. Cathey, in Georgetown after a long illness. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Zion Baptist Church with Rev. W. d. Carson officiating, assisted by Rev. W. D. Dearmon. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
In addition to the son at Georgetown, he is survived by two other sons, S. D. Cathey of Tullos and W. F. Cathey of Winnfield; one daughter, Miss Viola CAthey of Alenandria; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
