BALLARD, Betty J. Age 80, a lifelong resident of Miamisburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Sycamore Hospital. Betty was born on November 10, 1927 in Miamisburg, to the late, John T. and Nettie (Cass) Stone.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Ballard on November 10, 2005, by her son, Larry J. Ballard on April 8, 1994, a brother, Wilbur Stone and by 2 sisters, Alberta McCloud and Marcella Wheeler. She is survived by 2 sons, James P. Ballard of Miamisburg & Keith D. (Liz) Ballard of Germantown; 3 brothers, James Stone, Homer Stone, Webb Newton; a sister, Naomi Blackburn; 6 grandchildren, James D. Ballard, Wendy (Tim) Ashurst, Khris (Ali) Ballard, Bryen Ballard, Jeremy (Sabrina) Ballard & Jennifer Ballard; 5 great grandchildren, Emily, Melanie, Madelyn, Dakota & Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of the Miamisburg First Church of God, the Prime Timers and the Miamisburg Senior Citizens.
