The death of Mrs. Anna M. Knotts occurred yesterday, after an illness extending over some time, her age being 62 years. She had lived most of the time, in recent years, in Los Angeles, but recently came here to make her home with a sister in West Second street.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral chapel of Barton & Catick, Rev. C. M. Cristo officiating.

Mrs. Anna Knotts who formerly lived in Sullivan, died Monday, September 24, at the hospital for the insane in Los Angeles (Patton, Highland, San Bernardino), where she had been taking treatment for the past three years. Mrs. Knotts was born in Sullivan county, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jordon Peter, and was a sister of Margaret Peter of this city. The funeral occurred Monday, October 1.

Mrs. Anna M. Knotts, who has for the last three years been living with her sister, Mrs. E. M. Roberts, of San Bernardino, Cal., died there Sept. 22nd.
Mrs. Knotts was formerly a resident of Sullivan and was engaged in a millinery business.
She was a daughter of Jordan and Sarah A. Peter, and the wife of W. L. Knott, a soldier of the 31st Ind. Vol.
Mrs. Knotts leaves one brother and five sisters: Jason L. Peter, of Stuttgart, Ark., and Margaret Peter of Sullivan; Mrs. M. B. Smith, of Polo, Iowa, K. A. Lindsay, of Calvin, Ills., Mrs. E. M. Roberts, of San Bernardino, Cal.
Mrs. Knotts was in her 63rd year.

Gravesite Details

Anna's grave has no marker, but this is the stated location where she was laid to rest, next to Edith Green. Mt. View Cemetery says she was buried there on 9-24-1906 and there is no record of removal to Indiana.
