RITES LISTED FOR VICTIM OF CRASHVerona Beach - Services for Claude I. Bielby, 38, of the Lakeshore Road will be at 10:30 Tuesday at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home in Oneida. Burial will be in the North Bay Cemetery.Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Mr.Bielby was pronounced dead on arrival a the Rome City Hospital early Saturday morning after an automobile accident in the Town of Westmoreland.Police said Mr. Bielby’s car left the Wesstmoreland Road early Saturday morning near this community and went 400 feet before hitting two trees.He was alone in the car.He was born in Oriskany, son of Richard and Emma Watspm Bielby. He had lived inVerona Beach 17 years. He married Donna Campbell in Rome in 1953. Mr. Bielby was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving as sergeant in the 3rd Infantry Division.Besides his wife he leaves a son, Michael Bielby; three daughters, Joanne, Tammy and Wendy Bielby, all of the home; his father of Cold Brook; a sister, Miss Dawn Bielby of Oneida and five brothers, Charles of Oneida, Irving of Durhamville, Kenneth of Rome, Richard Jr. of Syracuse and Gary Bielby of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
