Thomas McGee is the son of Andrew Jackson McGee and Phoebe Carmichael, and the grandson of Sterling Carmichael and Martha Long Carmichael

Old Resident Dead

Thos. A. McGee, one of the oldest residents of the country northwest of here died last Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Wood. Blood cancer was the cause of his death. Interment was made the same day in the Waters cemetery, following services conducted by D.W. Teeter at the Wood home. Deceased was in his 77th year and he had been a well known figure in these parts for many years. Since the death of his wife two years ago he had been living with the family of his daughter.
