Rites Sunday
Final rites for Bert T. Polson were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Corley chapel with J. C. Mahoney, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Interment was in Younger cemetery.
A long-time resident of Corsicana, Polson, 79, died in Memorial hospital Friday. He was a native of Crawford.
He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I. He had resided in Corsicana the past 25 years, moving here from Mt. Calm.
Surviving are his widow of Corsicana; one son, Willie Lee Polson, California; three daughters, Mrs. W. E. Easter, Marlin; Mrs. L. O. Page, Waco, and Mrs. Lee McKenzie, Midland; one stepson, S. M. Howard, Ft. Worth; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Karen Evans, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Thurman and Edward Johnson, Williams and John L. Polson and Robert and Calvin McCaslin.
