PENDLETON - Eva Donetta "Dona" Hansen, 94, of Hermiston died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Willowbrook Terrace in Pendleton. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Hermiston Cemetery.

Mrs. Hansen was born Aug. 26, 1913, in Morgan, Utah to Parley and Jean Foote Mecham. She was raised in Carey, Idaho and lived in Washington for a short time before settling in Hermiston in 1953.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, making salsa, camping, going to the beach, and traveling.

Mrs. Hansen is survived by sons Bill Coombes of Challis, Idaho, Marvin Coombes of Halfway, and David Hansen of Salmon, Idaho; daughter Marva Lundquist of Umatilla; sisters Clea Guisasola of Rupert, Idaho, Lois Stocking of Carey, Idaho, and Lulu McBride of Victor, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters Elner Coombes and Ilene Sayler; son Don Coombes; sister Katherine Tollman; and brothers Lloyd, Eldon, Jim, and Willis Mecham.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
