Elmer L. Ceglinski, 58, of 1417 Jefferson Ave., died at 2:10 a.m. today, Monday, April 18, 1983, in Mercy Hospital after an extended illness.

He worked as an engineering technician at the Altoona VA Medical Center for five years.

He was born June 14, 1924, in St. Louis, MO, a son of Leo J. and Regina (Young) Ceglinski, and Sept. 10, 1949 married Cecelia Vaughn.

Surviving are his wife, two stepchildren; James Poirrier and Mrs. Patricia Lesko both of St. Louis MO., and seven step-grandchildren, including Mrs. Sherl Sackett and Eric Raynes of Altoona, who were raised in his home.

Also surviving is a stepmother, Mrs. Betty Ceglinski.

Mr. Ceglinski was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary.
